Memphis Metro Housing Stats

Memphis-area home sales for June decreased 11.7 % from a year ago, with 1,580 total sales recorded in the Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® MAARdata property records database.

Sales were up 12.1 % from May, when there were 1,410 total sales. Average sales price from June-to-June was up 2.4 %, at $296,816. Inventory increased 6.3 %, with 3,627 units listed for sale.

Sales volume YTD increased 5 percent, to $2.10 billion.

There is a total of 3,627  listings available to buyers in Memphis, this includes single family, condo and duplex properties for sale. The average list price for single-family homes is $409,404, $283,787 for condos, and for duplexes is $194,625. The market total for pending sales is 1,638 for single family, 61 for condo and 20 for duplex with the average list price of $352,786.
